The Cahill family has been involved in the construction, operation and/or development of real estate since the founding of their first company, Cahill Brothers, in 1911. Since that time, the Cahill companies have been responsible for developing and/or building hundreds of projects around the Bay Area. Cahill’s major development work began in earnest in the 1950’s, focusing primarily on office projects and constructed by Cahill Construction Co. or its successor Cahill Contractors, Inc. (www.cahill-sf.com).

In 1983 Calfox, Inc. was incorporated in 1983 by Jerry Cahill, Bill Cahill and Jay Cahill for the purpose of managing these real estate assets.  Over the interceding years it has developed into a full–service, real estate investment and asset management company, presently overseeing a portfolio of office, apartment, industrial and retail properties located throughout the western portion of the United States. Calfox leverages its experience, hands-on management style, and extensive knowledge in construction, development, and management, to optimize returns on its assets and strategically grow the portfolio through joint venture, development, and acquisitions.
